The spelt bread, Einkorn spelt, is a work of art. It sustained us during out trip for over a week. It was like the lembas bread from lord of the rings. Just keeps around, sustaining.

The red wine blend that was on happy hour was surprisingly good. We had the crab cakes &amp; Thai roasted carrot hummus for apps...the crab cakes were pretty good but the hummus was outstanding!!

have lunched at the Varsity Grill in the Alaska Airlines Center on the UAA campus several times, most recently on their outdoor deck. This place is a little hard to find, you have to enter vehicle information into the automated parking system to get.

We had such an amazing meal. Everything was delicious and beautifully plated. I would definitely come back on my next trip.
